Pilot Synopsis

Colin + Esteban miss every shot on the basketball court, where we learn about Colin’s blog rating restaurant bathrooms.

Kate wastes a morning worry-scrolling before work, and is busted at the new coffee shop accidentally cashing in on an undeserved perk.

Colin’s mom pays for his car repairs – again – and he has a freelance gig. Once the photo shoot is over, Colin unwittingly becomes a getaway driver when his subject asks for a ride to the airport, stopping at the ATM to drain her bank account on the way. Suspecting he’ll be paid in cash, Colin is stunned to be handed a check which cannot be deposited.

Kate spends the night (and her dwindling grocery money) out with friends Emily and Avery before coming home to hear all about Colin’s terrible day as a freelancer.

All in a day’s work.
